New Tools for Merchants
Pinterest adds Amazon storefront linking for creators. Pinterest is offering creators the ability to link directly to their Amazon storefront from their Pinterest account. When creators tag Amazon products on their pins, Pinterest will automatically apply their Amazon affiliate information, eliminating the need to add affiliate links or IDs manually. Creators can feature an Amazon storefront on their Pinterest profile, giving users a fuller picture of the products they recommend.
ACI Worldwide to power instant payments in Europe. ACI Worldwide, a global payments platform, has joined the European Payments Initiative as a technical service provider and will integrate EPI’s Wero wallet solution into ACI. Wero is a pan-European digital wallet that runs on Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) instant payment rails, offering peer-to-peer transfers, ecommerce, point-of-sale purchases, and more. Merchants and financial intermediaries across Europe can offer Wero to consumers and businesses.
Visa and OpenAI partner for agentic commerce infrastructure. Visa announced a collaboration with OpenAI on agentic commerce. Visa will integrate its payment capabilities into OpenAI experiences, letting developers and merchants accept Visa payments initiated by AI agents. Visa will deliver the underlying global network, payment tokenization, authorization, agent identification, and fraud monitoring infrastructure to support AI-initiated transactions. Beyond agentic commerce, Visa and OpenAI intend to explore embedding payment primitives and trusted agent identity signals into developer-focused experiences powered by Codex, OpenAI’s coding agent.
Kinsta launches bot protection for WordPress sites. Kinsta, a managed hosting provider for WordPress, has launched bot protection into the MyKinsta dashboard, putting site owners in control of who and what gets through to their site. The four preset, configurable protection levels are Block Malicious Traffic, Block Automations, Challenge Bots, and Challenge Everyone. Kinsta includes the feature in all plans at no additional cost.
Amazon Supply Chain Services opens less-than-load freight offering. Amazon has announced the U.S. expansion of its LTL freight to any destination, including third-party warehouses, distribution centers, and retail partners, as part of Amazon Supply Chain Services. Businesses now have the flexibility to ship by pallet, choosing LTL to share trailer space for partial loads.
Kyndryl releases AI orchestration for business. Kyndryl, a provider of enterprise technology services, has released AI Orchestration for Business, built on its Agentic AI Framework, which combines data, events, and AI agents. Kyndryl states that AI Orchestration for Business supports agentic workflows across store and enterprise operations, including agentic commerce, supply chain disruption management, role‑based operational orchestration, and more.
Subotiz launches AI Agent Suite and MCP server for subscription commerce. Subotiz, a subscription commerce platform, has launched its AI Agent Suite and MCP server to enable the design, management, and scaling of global subscription commerce through natural language. The suite’s components are Collect Agent, Onboard Agent, Merchant Agent, Data Agent, and Email Agent. Through the MCP Server, users can create customer profiles, adjust pricing plans, audit live webhook event logs, inspect refund histories, and retrieve documentation using natural language commands, per Subotiz.
ShopAgentic raises €1.9 million to build infrastructure for agentic commerce. ShopAgentic has announced the close of a €1.9 million ($2.2 million) pre-seed round, led by May Ventures and Greenfield Capital. ShopAgentic is a coordinated group of specialized AI agents that automates catalog management, dynamic pricing, customer service, fulfillment, and more. According to ShopAgentic, the capital will accelerate product development, deepen integrations across the commerce ecosystem, and grow the team.
Athos Commerce unveils intelligent product discovery. Athos Commerce, a platform that helps merchants improve product visibility, has launched Commerce Intelligent Discovery, an all-in-one, AI-powered framework to help ecommerce brands connect shoppers with the right products across shopping channels. The framework combines intelligent search, personalization, merchandising, product feed management, and generative engine optimization into a single platform that helps brands improve discoverability, drive conversion, and deliver shopping experiences across both traditional and generative channels.
DoorDash debuts conversational search tool. DoorDash has introduced Ask DoorDash for searching its app. Users can tap the Ask button in the search bar to share a recipe link or cookbook photo, or to describe the reservation they’re looking for. Ask DoorDash is available in select areas on iOS for restaurant search and grocery shopping.
Fast Simon launches AI personalization for merchandisers. Fast Simon, an ecommerce search and merchandising platform, has introduced an AI personalization tool for mid-market and enterprise brands on Shopify. The tool optimizes brand presentation, collection strategy, product launches, promotions, inventory management, and more.
LinkedIn introduces Creator Marketplace and BrandWorks. LinkedIn has launched Creator Marketplace and BrandWorks. Creator Marketplace helps brands find credible creators, connect on potential collaborations, and amplify organic and sponsored content. BrandWorks delivers hands-on strategy and support to help B2B marketers create high-performing campaigns.
Merchantee raises €1.8 million for agentic marketplace. Merchantee, an agentic marketplace management startup, has raised €1.8 million ($2.1 million) in funding, led by Reflex Capital and joined by Czech Founders VC and Lighthouse Ventures. Merchantee’s agentic marketplace platform model manages data, decision, execution, and optimization. It allows seller-driven budget and sales limits to guide discount campaigns, dynamic price adjustments, and promotion participation. The company will use the funds to expand its product development and marketplace integrations.
Shopware launches payment acceptance in partnership with PayPal. Shopware, an open-source ecommerce platform, has launched Payments, a payment acceptance feature powered by PayPal. According to Shopware, the feature enables merchants to activate and manage payments and provides access to checkout methods, including cards, digital wallets, buy-now-pay-later options, PayPal, and Venmo.
Triple Whale launches Moby Automations for campaigns. Triple Whale, an AI optimization system for ecommerce, has announced Moby Automations, a suite of tools to automate media buying. Users can (i) automatically scale winning campaigns by giving Moby the rules they already follow, (ii) manage creative performance at scale by analyzing large libraries to surface top performers, and (iii) track results across every attribution model.
Fractal launches Cogentiq e-commerce, an AI-native profit engine. Fractal, an AI solutions developer, has launched Cogentiq e-commerce to help consumer product companies optimize marketplace and other sales channels. Cogentiq e-commerce monitors key profit signals, including stock levels, media spend, keywords, content, and pricing, to help products stay available, discoverable, and more likely to convert into purchases. Cogentiq integrates with Amazon and plans to expand to other platforms soon.
Pollo AI launches Commerce Studio to streamline product visual creation. Pollo AI, a creative suite, has launched Commerce Studio for product visuals. Commerce Studio’s video maker transforms standard images into polished clips with motion, close-ups, and presentation-ready scenes. The virtual try-on photo places products on realistic AI avatars. AI product shot generator creates studio- and lifestyle product photos with refined composition.
